Good Morning! Just like yesterday it is super humid, hot and rainy. The air feels sticky and heavy!
After my flight I took the Keisei skyliner train to Nippori station where I met with Kyong. I got a beautiful view of Tokyo from the very quiet and very fast skyliner. I found parts of the city to have serene and beautiful nature which was shocking to me. Sometimes I get so caught up in the pictures I see I forget about the other areas that make up the cities.
Kyong and I took three trains before getting to her place, I dropped off my things and then Kyong and I went out again to got some food. At this point I was so energy drained I couldn't believe I went out again but after skipping the meals on the plane I knew I had to eat. And I am so happy I did. The portion sizes here fit my appetite! Everything is so organized, small and clean; I LOVE IT! My Udon dinner was 140 Y which is equal to $1.13 and it filled me up! After we got home, I took a bath in a nice deep Japanese bathtub and then went to bed.
You know you have jet lag when you find yourself waking up at 7am Tokyo time after no sleep for 15 hours.
I was so tired yesterday I didn't take many photos, I wanted to soak in everything through real time. But here are some I did take:

Mini Hambugers at the Grocery Store!

In Tokyo, people often commute by train or subway so there are many stores (similar to a mall when you get off). Everything is crowded but neatly organized.

Kyong lives in a space that is only 322ft2.
