"Life is a Treasure"
Dear Friends & Family,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!
As many of you already know I will be in Japan from June 16th- September 16th, 2015. I will be staying and working in Okinawa (Miyakojima) with my family to help pay for my senior year fall tuition. In addition, I will also be continuing my capstone project on the effects of U.S. military bases in Okinawa. I hope that this project will help me obtain academic and career goals after I graduate.
If you know me, you know that...
I am "haafu" or half-Okinawan.
I will be graduating from The Evergreen State College in one year. I love taking things head on, especially in learning about poltiics and business. I treasure education close to my heart. This comes from my parents who are both intellectuals. I love adventures, yoga, karate and dancing/acting on the side.
I also love my cat, Woody. Here he is:
I’m hoping this blog will keep those of you updated interested and a way to collect my research and experience.
Much Love,
Alice
